Celebrating more than 2 decades of the Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Workforce Training & Development

In today’s competitive business environment, strategic workforce training and development simply makes good business sense. Organizations are benefitting from the long-term value provided by a well-trained and forward-thinking workforce. Training and development enhances a company’s competitiveness, improves efficiency and directly influences employee goodwill.

The Mayor’s Award for Excellence in Workforce Training & Development was established in 1994 by the City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Training & Development Advisory Group to recognize those organizations in our community that demonstrate a clear commitment to the innovative and successful training and development of their workforce (employees and volunteers). In saluting these training leaders, we hope to emphasize the role workforce training plays in driving our City’s economic growth and prosperity.

Any Cambridge organization, large or small, private or public, can qualify as a training and development leader.

Pharmaceutical & Health Product Blister Packaging

August 2011 - QPharm's Service of the Month

For about 6 years now QPharm has offered blister packaging as one of our signature services. While our equipment has served us well throughout that time, the lack of consistency with our older machine didn’t allow us to be overly competitive with regard to pricing and occasionally made it difficult to meet customer deadlines.  As a result, we recently decided to improve our blister operation by investing in a new ProPacker-150/6 Blister Packaging Machine. Pharmaceutical Secondary Packaging Service

July 2011 - QPharm's Service of the Month

One of the first services we offered here at QPharm, when we began in 1996, was secondary packaging.  While we originally thought there might be some need for secondary work, we never imagined it would become one of our major services.  It didn’t take long for us to realize that many large pharmaceutical companies do not have the capacity or flexibility to rework or inspect some of their finished products.

This is where QPharm comes in.

Service of the Month – Tube Filling & Sealing

April 2011 - profiling our Tube Filling and Sealing services

I thought it would be beneficial to discuss some of QPharm’s services in more detail within the blog. But rather than write up a long winded article, I figured that each month I would profile a different service and go into greater detail regarding our experience with a particular service. So here is goes, the first service of the month, for the month of April 2011 – Tube Filling and Sealing. Continue reading “Service of the Month – Tube Filling & Sealing” »
