This month I wanted to talk about one of the newest services QPharm Inc. offers, Pouching. We recently purchased a Bartelt pouching machine to allow us produce 3 and 4 side sealed pouches made from various materials such as paper, foil or polyvinyl. These are single use powder or liquid filled pouches in the 10 – 40 gram/ml range. In 1996 we jumped at the opportunity to work with a relatively large international pharmaceutical company by purchasing a packaging line that was designed specifically for packing tablets and/or capsules.
